“PROG ZONE – Il prog in Concerto”, una rassegna live di musica progressive/alternative rock nata da un’idea di Daniele Giovannoni, batterista dei Karmamoi (www.karmamoi.it), band progressive rock italo-inglese con all’attivo
due album (“Karmamoi” del 2011 e “Odd Trip” del 2013) e un terzo” Solitary Binary System” in uscita a Giugno 2015, anticipato dal singolo “Sirio”. I Karmamoi, già protagonisti dell’Eurosonic Showcase Festival di Groningen (Olanda, 2011) e di numerosi live, tra i quali l’opening act al Borderline di Londra per gli storici Curved Air, condivideranno il
palco con due band della scena prog emergente: Jade Vine e Old Rock City Orchestra.
I greco-londinesi Jade Vine (www.jadevineuk.com), attualmente impegnati nelle registrazioni del loro secondo album,
hanno intrapreso nel 2013 un tour in Inghilterra e in Grecia come opening act degli Anathema, nota prog band di fama internazionale. Nello stesso anno Daniel Cavanagh, chitarrista degli Anathema, ha co-prodotto il loro primo lavoro dal titolo “Nothing Can Hide From Light”.
Gli Old Rock City Orchestra (www.oldrockcityorchestra.com), anch’essi impegnati nell’uscita del loro secondo
album, sono stati protagonisti nel 2013 di un tour europeo che ha toccato Inghilterra, Francia, Belgio, Olanda e
Bulgaria. Il disco d’esordio “Once Upon A Time” è uscito nel 2012 per l’etichetta indipendente M.P. & Records, già in
collaborazione con artisti nazionali e internazionali come Rick Wakeman (YES), Sonja Kristina (Curved Air) e, tra gli
altri, Bernardo Lanzetti (PFM), voce storica del progressive rock italiano, con il quale la band umbra ha condiviso il
palco lo scorso luglio 2014.
PROG ZONE gode del supporto mediatico di distribuzioni, radio, webradio e magazine del settore e sarà replicato nel
corso del 2015 anche in Gran Bretagna.

assets of two albums ("Karmamoi" of 2011 and "Odd Trip" in 2013) and a third "Solitary Binary System" due out in

The Greek-Londoners Jade Vine (www.jadevineuk.com), currently involved in the recording of their second album,
embarked on a tour of England in 2013 and in Greece as opening act of Anathema, internationally renowned and multi award winning prog band. In the same year Daniel Cavanagh, Anathema guitarist, co-produced their first work entitled "Nothing Can Hide From Light".
The Old Rock City Orchestra (www.oldrockcityorchestra.com) also releasing of their second album, were
protagonists in 2013 of a European tour that touched England, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Bulgaria. The
debut album "Once Upon A Time" was released in 2012 for the independent label MP & Records, already in
collaboration with national and international artists such as Rick Wakeman (YES), Sonja Kristina (Curved Air) and,
among others, Bernardo Lanzetti (PFM), historical voice of the Italian progressive rock, with whom the band shared the stage last July 2014.
PROG ZONE has the support of media distribution, radio, web radio and magazine industry and will be repeated in the course of 2015 in Great Britain.
